HeliOS project, children and exposure to technology

Dear readers, meet Ken Starks.
No, I am not going to introduce him to you personally. I do not know him personally either, but I do know that everyone should at least hear about him and about the HeliOS project.

Ken is one of the most active linux advocates in USA. And not just in words. Ken is one of the founders of the HeliOS project, based in Austin, Texas, the organization that has no paid staff, just volunteers. They are driven by the motto that “A child’s exposure to technology should never be predicated on an ability to pay for it”. Read more…
