Calories and ignorance

I write this blog as I am irritated how consumer brand called “calorie” has strong influence on people, misleading them on purpose and making them to spend their money on the products that will increase or decrease their body mass, fat cells, health, digestion and so on. List is pretty long, usually ending with supreme arrogance of advertising bottled water that contains zero calories.
Do they really think that we are that stupid? Yes, they do. They exist on simple fact that majority of us – Earthlings, will rarely switch on our brains to process anything else then our day-to-day obligations, entertainment and life. Besides, we are cursed to be misled easily. That is because we like to rationalize. Read more…
